Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant for our Pulmonary group. The role is primarily based in Bannockburn, IL, with travel to other sites as needed. Full-time position with standard hours Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm.

Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling, patient check-in/out, registrations, and basic clinical task support under physician supervision. CPR certification is required; some phlebotomy may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program preferred.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required.
• 1 year of work experience in a medical office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments and register patients.
• Verify insurances and greet patients to exam rooms.
• Document vitals, allergies, medications, and reason for visit.
• Provide front office support; basic vitals (BP, height, weight) collected.
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.
