Summit Health Management is looking for a Medical Assistant to support physicians and advanced providers. Responsibilities include room preparation, patient flow management, documentation in EHR, and assisting with scheduling and referrals.

The role requires a high school diploma and completion of an accredited MA or phlebotomy program, with 0–1 year experience preferred. Travel to satellite offices may be needed; BLS is required.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program is required.
• 0-1 year related work experience is required; 2-4 years preferred.
• BLS certification or near hire date is required.
• English communication skills, both written and spoken, required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares examination room and escorts patient to room.
• Maintains efficient patient flow and prepares information for visit.
• Documents in EHR and updates medication lists and allergies.
• Performs routine clinical tasks and supports care transitions.
• Assists with scheduling and refills as needed.
• Provides scribing services and adheres to safety procedures.
