Job summary

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, graduation from an accredited MA or phlebotomy program, 0–1 year of related experience, BLS certification, and strong English communication. Some travel to satellite offices may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program required.
• 0-1 year related work experience preferred; 2-4 years preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• English communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares examination rooms and escorts patients to the room.
• Assists physicians, PAs or NPs with patient care and procedures.
• Maintains efficient patient flow and accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Schedules appointments and manages referrals and messages.
• Stocks supplies and assists in ordering inventory as needed.
• Provides scribing support as needed.
