Job summary

Atrius Health in Medford, MA is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians with routine exams and tests in the Internal Medicine department.

The role requires documenting patient data in EMR, preparing patients for visits, measuring vitals, and assisting with waived point-of-care testing. Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency certificate or MA certification.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• EMR experience and ability to use related software.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians with routine procedures and tests.
• Prepare patients for examinations and record vitals.
• Ensure EMR is updated with test results and demographic info.
• Reconcile medications and manage refills as needed.
• Perform waived Point-of-Care testing (strep, urine, hCG, glucose).
