Core Physicians, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clerical, clinical and business support under supervision. The role supports providers, pre-visit work, vaccines, and patient counseling across the Seacoast region.

The position offers a weekday schedule, competitive pay range of $20.00 - $29.49 per hour, and benefits starting on day one. Candidate must have CMA/RMA/CCMA certification or progress toward one, with BLS within 6 months.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CMA/RMA/CCMA certification or progress toward one within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Aufgaben

• Perform pre-visit work, obtain vital signs, reconcile medications.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments; ensure exam rooms are stocked.
• Respond to patient portal messages on the same day.
• Follow standing protocols for pre-visit work, vaccines, and prescriptions.
• Schedule pre-admission and diagnostic tests; follow up after surgery.
• Handle daily clerical tasks: check-in/out, scheduling, phones, records, billing.
• Maintain policies, confidentiality, and participate in daily huddle.
• Scribe if needed; document encounters and order labs/meds.
• Monitor care team metrics and outcomes.
• Provide coverage for other Core Offices as needed; perform other duties.
• Support practice in clerical, clinical, and business under supervision.
