Core Physicians, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, seeks a Medical Assistant to support clerical, clinical and business tasks under supervision. The role offers a weekday schedule, 32 hours weekly, and work at 118 Portsmouth Ave, NH.

Responsibilities include patient intake, vital signs, medication reconciliation, and assisting clinicians during exams. The position requires High School diploma or GED and CMA/RMA/CCMA certification or equivalent training within 6 months; BLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED as a minimum educational requirement.
• CMA/RMA/CCMA certification or credentialed training with testing within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Perform pre-visit work, obtain vital signs, reconcile medications, and assist providers.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, keep exam rooms stocked and clean.
• Respond to patient portal messages the same day and follow standing protocols.
• Assist with vaccines, prescriptions, and coordination of pre-admission testing.
• Greet, check-in/out patients and manage scheduling and records.
• Adhere to policies on confidentiality, QA, safety and infection control.
• May scribe or document encounters and order labs or referrals as needed.
• Monitor care-team metrics and cover other Core Offices as required.
