Job summary

Core Physicians, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, seeks a Medical Assistant to support clerical, clinical and business tasks under supervision. The role includes pre-visit work, vital signs, vaccines, and routine patient interactions across Seacoast NH locations.

Qualifications include High School or GED, CMA/RMA/CCMA certification within 6 months or training program, and BLS within 6 months. Earn a $2500 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits on day one.

Qualifications

• High School or GED
• CMA/RMA/CCMA certification/registration required or within 6 months of hire OR credentialed through a formal training program that includes testing of knowledge
• BLS within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties: pre-visit work, vital signs, med reconciliation, assist with examinations.
• Prepare/sterilize instruments; stock exam rooms.
• Respond to patient portal messages the same day.
• Complete pre-visit work, close gaps in care, administer vaccines, process refills.
• Schedule pre-admission and diagnostic testing; follow-up calls post-surgery.
• Greet/check-in/check-out, scheduling, phones, messages, charts, filing, and billing.
• Maintain policies on confidentiality, safety, QA; participate in daily huddle.
• Scribing: document encounters; order labs/referrals/prescriptions.
• Monitor care-team metrics and drive improvements.
• Provide coverage for other Core Offices as needed.
