Qualifications

• Certification or registration as CMA/RMA/CCMA is required or within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-visit work including vital signs and medication reconciliation.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Clean and prepare instruments for sterilization and ensure exam rooms are stocked.
• Respond to patient portal messages on the day they are received.
• Complete pre-admission work, vaccines, and prescription refills using standing protocols.
• Schedule pre-admission and diagnostic testing and follow up with patients post-surgery.
• Handle clerical tasks: check-in/out, scheduling, phones, messages, charting, billing, and collections.
• Adhere to Core Physicians policies and regulatory requirements; participate in daily huddles.

Education
