Job summary

VillageMD is hiring a Medical Assistant in New Jersey to support physicians, PAs and NPs with patient flow, clerical tasks, and routine procedures. You will prep rooms, take vital signs, and document in the EHR with accuracy.

The role requires strong English communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic. Travel to satellite offices may be required; competitive hourly pay offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program.
• 0-1 year related work experience required; 2-4 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares examination room and escorts patient for visits.
• Maintains efficient patient flow and accurate vitals documentation.
• Documents allergies and medications in the EHR; schedules appointments.
• Assists with prescription processing and referrals as needed.
• Provides scribing services and support to clinicians.
• Ensures universal safety and proper disposal of medical waste.
