This 40-hour position reports to the Practice Manager or Team Leader and emphasizes patient instruction, OSHA/CLIA/HIPAA compliance, and essential clinic duties. The role includes assisting with exams, collecting specimens, administering meds as directed, and maintaining patient charts and revenue forms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, and document vitals in the chart.
• Document patient history and address patient concerns during exams.
• Prepare patient for exams and assist providers.
• Aide in nursing procedures and clinical patient care activities.
• Collect and prepare lab specimens, and perform basic lab tests.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by providers.
• Maintain logs, complete forms and ensure revenue cycle accuracy.
