St. Elizabeth Physicians in Edgewood, KY seeks a Medical Assistant to provide clinical support to physicians and mid-level providers. You will take and document vital signs, assist during exams, and relay instructions to patients under provider direction.

You must comply with OSHA/CLIA and HIPAA regulations and ensure accurate charting and administrative tasks vital to the practice. Work is regular hours with no nights, holidays, or weekends, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualificações

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Completion of MA program including hands-on externship, SEP internship, or EMT certification.
• Degree in Health or Biological Sciences with hands-on clinical patient care experience.

Responsabilidades

• Escort patients to exam rooms and document vital signs in the chart.
• Document patient history and complaints in the chart.
• Provide exam instructions to patients under provider direction.
• Assist the provider during examinations and perform nursing procedures as directed.
• Collect specimens, prepare labs, and administer medications as directed by the provider.
• Maintain logs, verify orders, and assist with revenue-cycle forms.
