St. Elizabeth Physicians in Kentucky is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and mid-level providers with clinical duties, patient education, and documentation.

The role requires organizing exam readiness, assisting with procedures, and maintaining HIPAA/OSHA compliance. Responsibilities include vital signs, specimen collection, basic lab tests, medication administration, and ensuring complete patient records for revenue cycle processing.

Formación

• Must have one of the following: 1 year MA, CNA, PCA, STNA, or SEH Clinical Care Tech experience.
• Completion of MA Program including hands-on MA externship.
• Completion of SEP Internship.
• Completion of EMT certification.
• Degree in Health or Biological Sciences inclusive of hands-on clinical patient care activities such as Athletic Trainer

Responsabilidades

• Escort patients to exam rooms and record vital signs.
• Assist providers during exams and prepare the patient for procedures.
• Collect laboratory specimens and perform basic tests.
• Administer medications as directed and ensure chart accuracy.
• Maintain supplies, clean and disinfect exam rooms, and support revenue cycle tasks.
