Job summary

Humana Inc. and CenterWell Senior Primary Care are seeking a Medical Assistant 2 to be the first point of contact for patient care, handling both clinical duties and essential administrative tasks.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, administering medications and vaccines, phlebotomy, specimen collection, operating in EMR, and coordinating with physicians and AP providers to ensure high-quality patient experiences. CPR certification and Spanish-English bilingual ability are valued.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of MA experience approved by Provider.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification required.
• TB screening as part of the program.

Responsibilities

• Provide both administrative and clinical patient care.
• Take vital signs and discuss symptoms.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens.
• Document information into EMR and coordinate with physicians/APs.
