Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant 2 to be the first point of contact for patient care. You will handle administrative duties and direct patient care, performing vitals, discussing symptoms, and assisting with procedures.

Role requires MA program or CMA/RMA, High School diploma, CPR, and TB screening. Preferred experience includes phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and knowledge of HEDIS/CPT/ICD coding; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certification
• TB screening as part of program

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for patient care and administrative duties
• Take vitals, discuss symptoms, assist with procedures
• Document information into EMR system
• Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection as certified
