Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows policies.
• Performs rooming tasks: vital signs, medication reconciliation, medical history, health maintenance, allergy review, screenings.
• Assists provider with procedures as ordered.
• Performs lab duties: venipuncture, specimen handling, POCT, and CLIA-waived tests.
• Administers medications and vaccines following rights of administration.
• Other duties: refills, insurance authorizations, scheduling, referrals.
