Hometown Urgent Care in Ohio is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians and ensure patient comfort. You will take histories, record vitals, and perform basic tests and phlebotomy while maintaining HIPAA and accurate documentation.

This role requires 1–2 years of clinic experience, basic computer skills with EMR, and CPR certification. Travel to care centers within the region may be required; the team emphasizes patient care, confidentiality, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Take patient history and obtain vital signs.
• Perform basic tests and screenings (vision, hearing, urine drug screens, EKGs, pulmonary function tests).
• Perform phlebotomy for lab samples.
• Complete paperwork for lab tests and documentation.
• Administer injections and document per policy.
• Perform point-of-care testing (strep, flu, glucose, pregnancy tests).
• Assist providers with exams and testing.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and patient privacy.
