Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience, acting as both Medical Receptionist and assisting with clinical tasks.

The role requires 1 year of MA experience, graduation from an MA program, and CPR/BLS certification at start date. Phlebotomy is preferred, with a patient-centric, team-based approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant (preferably in Primary Care).
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration is strongly preferred and required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date. Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations per physician order.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, chart requests, and referrals; document in medical records.
