Job summary

Crossover Health in Redmond, WA is seeking a Medical Assistant to enhance the patient experience. You will take histories, record vitals, assist clinicians, and support daily clinic operations to ensure guests are welcomed and cared for from arrival through checkout.

The role emphasizes hospitality, accurate documentation, immunization and phlebotomy tasks, and collaboration with providers. A 2-year clinical back-office background and BLS certification are preferred, with strong English

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant or surgical technician program.
• Minimum of 2 years comparable clinical back-office medical assistant experience.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Take medical histories, measure patient vitals, and other pertinent information to assist the clinician with care of the patient.
• Handle inventory, orders, and replenish medical supplies and materials.
• Provide phlebotomy services and immunization services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Welcome each member and handle all member interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
• Demonstrate a commitment to quality, delivering uncompromised service and outcomes.
• Accommodate special requests for member support whenever possible and help to promptly resolve member questions.
• Assist with assigned projects and special provider or patient requests.
• Assist with the member check-in process, including understanding of benefit eligibility files, check-in technology and clinic workflows.
• Process transactions required to begin or complete the visit.
• Demonstrate knowledge of employer-sponsored health insurance, including copays, co-insurance, and related benefit requirements.
