Job summary

Mosaic Community Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Redmond clinic team. The MA will provide direct patient care and support to providers, including rooming patients, medication reconciliation, and assisting with clinical procedures.

Responsibilities include pre-visit chart scrub, immunization reconciliation, and coordinating care with nurses and specialists. EHR documentation and patient communication are essential to daily operations.»

Qualifications

• High School/GED or better.
• CPR certification required.
• Preferred Certified Medical Assistant.
• Less than 2 years: 0-2 year healthcare experience or Bachelor’s degree in related field may be considered in lieu of experience.
• EHR experience, EPIC experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pre-visit chart scrub (EMR): referrals, meds, immunizations, allergies, lab orders, health maintenance.
• Medication, immunization, and allergy reconciliation.
• Rooming the patient in person or remote (remote rooming for MA II/III).
• Prepare, administer, and document medications and vaccines.
• Assist with clinical procedures.
• Review AVS with patient and plan of care.
• Document encounters via EMR.
• Clinical services: EKG, pulse ox, hearing/vision testing, phlebotomy, venipuncture.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate care with staff and specialists.
• Provide home-based care when needed within service scope.
