Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care under the supervision of a licensed provider. You will assist with exam preparation, vital signs, medication screening, and documentation in the EHR, while helping with office workflows to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED or completion of a Medical Assistant program, with certification within 120 days of hire if not already certified.

Qualifications

• High School / GED or completion of a Medical Assistant program.
• Must obtain certification within 120 days of hire if not already certified; accepted MA certifications include NHA, AAMA, AMT, NCCT, AMCA.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate patient care under supervision of the health care provider.
• Prepare and room patients and obtain vital signs per workflows.
• Perform back office testing and assist with examinations and procedures.
• Document accurately in the EHR and support clerical office duties.
• May serve as a scribe with training.
