Oak Street Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support clinical teams and patients. You will gather essential medical information, perform screenings, and assist with vaccinations and point-of-care testing to ensure informed clinical decisions.

As an MA, you will collaborate with care teams, manage EMR entries, and help maintain clinic operations. Strong communication and organizational skills are required, with flexibility and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• State or national certification, or graduation from an accredited medical assistant program.
• 1 year experience as a medical assistant.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• Electronic Medical Record experience.
• Computer skills: Gmail, MS Word/Sheets, Excel/Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient patient flow; room patients, record vitals and screenings.
• Inventory supplies and stock exam rooms.
• Respond to patient requests for telephonic support.
• Administer vaccinations and point-of-care tests per state regulations.
• Import documents into EMR via scanning or PDF upload.
• Participate in care team meetings and clinic operations.
• Process orders for durable medical equipment; request external medical records.
• Perform routine quality control checks and infection control measures.
