Beacon Health Options is seeking an organized Medical Assistant to support physicians and nursing staff in a busy clinic setting. You will handle patient intake, record medical histories, and assist with routine examinations and EKGs.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, managing charting and billing information, scheduling procedures, and supporting the team to deliver high-quality care. Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Medical Assistant through exam or approved program with CMA credential.
• Previous medical office experience.
• Spanish language skills are desirable.

Responsabilités

• Assist physician and nurse with patient care and minor procedures.
• Greet patients, collect information, and complete patient records for billing and data entry.
• Record medical history and prepare patient for examination; perform basic tests (EKG, labs) as ordered.
• Schedule procedures and coordinate with hospital/clinic staff.
