Summit Health is seeking a Medical Assistant in New Jersey to support physicians, PAs and NPs with clerical duties, patient flow and care. You will handle vitals, charting in EHR, room prep and referral processing while ensuring patient safety and smooth clinic operations.

Role requires MA program completion or MA diploma, BLS within 30 days, and strong English communication. On-site duties include satellite office coverage and adherence to schedules.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program.
• 0-1 year related work experience, 2-4 years preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Strong English communication, both written and spoken.
• Able to organize and perform multiple tasks efficiently.

Aufgaben

• Prepares the examination room, escorts patient, and cleans the room after exams.
• Maintains efficient patient flow and prepares information for visits.
• Assists with scheduling, supplies, and inventory management.
• Documents vital signs and allergies in EHR accurately.
• Enter orders in PMS and EHR and provide referrals when needed.
• Demonstrates safety precautions and transitions of care as required.
