Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient care under supervision of the health care provider.
• Prepares and rooms patients; obtains vital signs; documents patient history.
• Performs back office testing following AHN protocols.
• Assists providers with examinations and procedures.
• May serve as a scribe with additional training.
• Provides follow up with patients per provider instructions.
• Prepares exam rooms and ensures inventory of supplies.
• Sterilizes instruments and performs lab controls.
• Documents accurately in the EHR and completes clerical tasks.
• May float/travel between physician office locations.
