Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED OR completion of a Medical Assistant program.
• Certification must be completed within 120 days of hire if not already certified.
• Associate's Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating patient care under supervision of the health care provider.
• Prepare and room patients, obtain vital signs, and document patient information.
• Perform back office testing following AHN protocols.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• May serve as a scribe with additional training.
• Document accurately in the EHR and maintain records.
• May travel between physician office locations as needed.
