Qualifications

• Must have High School / GED or completion of a Medical Assistant program.
• Certification required within 120 days of hire for eligible employees.
• Accepted Medical Assistant Certification (NHA, AAMA, AMT, NCCT, AMCA).

Responsabilités

• Coordinate patient care under supervision of the health care provider.
• Prepare and room patients according to workflows; obtain vitals and review medication lists.
• Assist in back office testing and with examinations and procedures.
• May serve as a scribe with additional training.
• Document in the EHR accurately and maintain supplies.
