Job summary

Advacare, LLC seeks a skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. You will provide direct patient care and support to providers, performing both clinical and administrative duties with professionalism and efficiency.

Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, document histories, maintain clean treatment rooms, and help ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance while delivering compassionate service to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to perform administrative tasks and document patient histories.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and patient data management.
• Experience with EHR systems and scheduling workflows.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient histories; answer and route phone calls; complete required forms.
• Prepare patients for exams by taking vital signs and summarizing history for providers.
• Set up treatment rooms and maintain cleanliness; communicate physician instructions to patients.
• Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance; assist providers and clinical staff as needed.
