Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Georgia is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our caring team. You will be the first contact for patient care, handling both administrative tasks and direct clinical support onsite, with a focus on accuracy and compassion.

The role requires certification as a Medical Assistant, a high school diploma or equivalent, and CPR certification, with preferred experience in phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and value-based care knowledge.

Qualifications

• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Discuss symptoms, obtain vital signs, and administer medications and vaccines.
• Phlebotomy, collect specimens, and conduct diagnostic screening tests.
• Sterilize equipment, maintain exam rooms, and document in EMR system.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Deliver direct patient care within certification scope.
• Follow defined policies with some latitude on prioritization.
