Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care seeks a Medical Assistant to be the first point of contact for patient care, performing both administrative and clinical duties onsite in Savannah, GA. The role supports physicians and advanced practice providers and requires TB screening as part of the company program.

Qualified candidates are Certified/Registered Medical Assistants with a high school diploma and CPR certification; phlebotomy or vaccination administration experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Role includes TB screening as part of Humana program.

Responsibilities

• Discuss symptoms, obtain vital signs, and administer medications and vaccines.
• Perform phlebotomy, collect specimens, and run diagnostic screening tests.
• Sterilize equipment, maintain examination rooms, and document in EHR.
• Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
• Deliver direct patient care within credentialed scope.
