Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to be the first point of contact for patient care, performing administrative and clinical tasks onsite under supervision. Responsibilities include recording vital signs, assisting with vaccines, phlebotomy, and maintaining exam rooms within HIPAA-compliant EMR documentation.

The role requires a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant, a high school diploma, CPR certification, and TB screening participation.

Qualifications

• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification.
• TB screening required as part of Humana program.

Responsibilities

• Discuss symptoms and obtain vital signs; administer medications and vaccines.
• Perform phlebotomy, collect specimens and conduct diagnostic screening tests.
• Sterilize equipment, maintain examination rooms, and document in EMR.
• Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers; deliver direct patient care.
