First Urology is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant (MA) for the ATC department, supporting the Jeffersonville and Dupont locations and assisting oncology providers and staff in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, injections and lab-draw experience, and a compassionate bedside manner. Clinical experience is preferred; in-office day shift, Mon–Fri, non-exempt.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent; associate degree a plus.
• Experience with injections and lab draws required.
• Clinical experience preferred; strong attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate patient charts.
• Draw laboratory specimens (venipuncture).
• Administer injections per provider orders.
• Assist with patient flow and clinic efficiency.
• Provide supportive care and oncology patient education.
• Collaborate with clinical staff, providers, and ATC/research teams.
• Float between Jeffersonville and Dupont locations as scheduled.

Position Summary:

Medical Assistant (MA) is a float position within our ATC department. This role will support both the Jeffersonville and Dupont locations and work closely with providers and clinical staff caring for oncology patients. The Medical Assistant will assist with daily clinical operations and provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This position requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, and compassion when working with cancer patients.

Responsibilities

• Administering injections per provider orders


• Assisting with patient flow and clinic efficiency


• Providing supportive care and education to oncology patients


• Collaborating with clinical staff, providers, and research/ATC teams


• Floating between Jeffersonville and Dupont locations as scheduled

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.


• Compassionate bedside manner and ability to work with cancer patients.
