Job Description

This position will be cross-trained as a tech and a Front Desk Receptionist.

Integrated Pain Solutions is an interventional pain management clinic focusing on chronic pain, offering interventional procedures and medication management. The ideal candidate will work independently, follow clinical protocols, and provide exceptional patient care. We are seeking an energetic, caring, and compassionate individual with a Medical Assistant Certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative duties such as scheduling procedures and maintaining medical records.
  • Perform clinical duties including taking/recording vital signs, medication review, and preparing patients for examinations or procedures.

Additional Information:

  • Welcomes and greets patients and visitors, in person or over the phone.
  • Answers phones politely and maintains proper etiquette.
  • Keeps the reception area clean and organized.
  • Registers new patients and updates existing patient information, including personal and financial details.
  • Facilitates patient flow by notifying providers of arrivals and communicating delays.
  • Responds courteously to inquiries from patients and visitors.
  • Maintains office supplies and monitors equipment needs.
  • Protects patient confidentiality and secures protected health information.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or CNA program.
  • Experience in pain management or primary care is desirable.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • EHR knowledge preferred.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to establish working relationships.
  • Some travel may be required.

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma minimum; Associate's degree preferred.
  • At least one year of relevant experience or training.
  • EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; keyboarding skills required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
