Zusammenfassung

Marathon Health is looking for an experienced Medical Assistant to join our primary care team. You will support a physician, manage patient flow, perform clinical tasks, and deliver a great guest experience in our centralized or onsite care model.

You will take vitals, assist with procedures, handle front-d desk duties, and help maintain documentation and readiness for patient visits. A MA program graduate with CPR/BLS is preferred, with state or national certification highly regarded.

Qualifikationen

• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred or required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.

Aufgaben

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Gather relevant health information from patients to inform the provider.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, bandage wounds, assist with procedures; work with contracted labs.
• Prepare and administer approved medications and immunizations as directed.
• Partner with care team to develop patient care plans and address gaps in care.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, documentation, referrals, check-in/out.
• Record data in the medical record per documentation guidelines.
• Process test results and communicate results to patients via e-message, mail, or phone.
• Participate in outreach to patients to drive engagement among eligible groups.
• Maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment.
