Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant works closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and a welcoming guest experience, handling both frontline reception and clinical tasks.

This role requires a formal Medical Assistant program graduate, CPR/BLS certification, and preferably MA certification or registration. At Marathon Health, you’ll join a mission-driven team with competitive benefits, PTO and paid

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred; required where state law mandates it.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Support front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and care coordination.
• Communicate test results to patients and document in medical records.
