Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The MA works closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and a positive guest experience, acting as both a receptionist and clinical assistant.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, phlebotomy, injections, and coordinating with labs. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced care model that emphasizes patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, wound care.
• Assist with procedures and coordinate with labs for tests.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and coordination of care.
