Job summary

Pediatric Associates in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Medical Assistant Lead to support the Practice Manager in daily clinical operations for small to medium offices. The role focuses on quality patient care, staff supervision and adherence to infection prevention policies.

You will supervise Medical Assistants, ensure vaccine handling and storage, assist with intake and documentation, and coordinate with clinicians to deliver exceptional pediatric care in a busy, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Medical Assistant experience in a healthcare setting.
• 2 years as a PA Medical Assistant preferred.
• Active BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Medical Assistants and assist with training and competency evaluation.
• Maintain high quality patient experience and a safe environment.
• Document patient intake vitals and notify clinicians of abnormal findings.
• Assist with vaccine administration and vaccine cold chain management.
• Prepare patients for examinations and document visits accurately.
• Coordinate with clinicians for age-appropriate screenings and procedures.
• Handle patient referrals, forms and follow-up appointments.
