Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus advanced training.
• Graduation from an approved medical assistant training program.
• Certified Medical Assistant required.
• CPR and AED certification per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.
• Arizona DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card for behavioral health locations.
• Minimum four years healthcare experience including leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evaluate staff performance; provide coaching and evaluations.
• Oversee daily clinic operations, scheduling, and patient flow.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (FMLA, ADA, etc.).
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff; manage time and attendance records.
• Handle budgeting, billing oversight, and inventory management.
• Promote patient satisfaction and effective interdepartmental communication.
• Support quality improvement and safety initiatives across the site.
