Job summary

One Medical in Hanover, NH is seeking a Medical Assistant (Lab Services Specialist / Member Support Specialist) to deliver venipuncture and clinical support, serve as the first point of contact for patients, and ensure the lobby and lab reflect the One Medical experience.

You will work with a collaborative team, apply empathetic, patient-centered care, manage patient messages, assist with lab cases, and support providers and the virtual medical team with clerical tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of training/externship.
• Strong customer service skills with ability to build relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with multiple software systems such as Slack, G-Suite, Zoom, and EMR; comfort with tech.
• Experience collaborating with diverse, multi-disciplinary teams; remote team experience a plus.
• Proven ability to stay confident and empathetic during specimen collection and patient interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide venipuncture and clinical support across age groups from pediatrics to adults.
• Handle front desk duties including check-in/check-out and insurance verification.
• Respond to patient messages and assist providers and virtual medical team with clerical tasks.
• Maintain inventory, labeling, handling and processing of specimens and ensure sterile practices.
