Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and a great guest experience, acting as both Medical Receptionist and clinical support.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of MA experience, graduation from an MA program, and CPR/BLS certification. MA certification/registration is preferred where required. We offer comprehensive benefits and career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration is preferred; required where applicable.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, blood draws, injections, wound care, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Coordinate with labs and care team to address gaps in care.
• Perform front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, and referrals.
