Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. The Medical Assistant will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience, acting as both receptionist and clinical support.

Minimum of 1 year of MA experience preferred; graduation from an MA program and CPR/BLS required. Certification or registration may be required by state. Competitive benefits and a supportive environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.
• MA certification or registration is required for employment in States where certification/registration is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escorts patients to room and ensures exam rooms are stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, wound care, assist with procedures.
• Work with labs for additional tests and coordinate care with providers.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, record requests, referrals, and check-in/check-out.
