Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Medical Assistant for an Internal Medicine Clinic. The role provides patient care support under supervision, including vitals, injections, venipuncture, and clerical duties to ensure efficient operations.

Starting wages are $18.41/hour for non-certified MAs and $19.43/hour for certified MAs, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires. Schedule is full-time, 8:00am–5:00pm, with no on-call duties.

Qualifications

• EMR experience required or preferred.
• One year of experience in a medical office with multiple providers.
• Preferred CMA or RMA certification.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patients with courtesy and professionalism.
• Prepare exam rooms and stock supplies.
• Document all interventions and medications in the chart or system.
• Administer or assist with EKGs, PFTs, immunizations and venipuncture as directed.
• Assist with gynecological exams, physicals and office visits.
