McLaren Health Care in Michigan is seeking a Medical Assistant Receptionist for the Cardiology department. The role includes clinical support such as vital signs, injections, venipuncture, EKGs and immunizations, plus clerical tasks to keep the office efficient.

Starting wages are $17.69/hour for non-certified MAs and $18.41/hour for certified MAs; a $2,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible new hires. Full-time schedule is 8a-5p.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent is required, with six months of Medical Assistant or Patient Care Tech experience.
• Preferred CMA or RMA certification.
• BLS within 6 months for Rural Health Designation clinics may be required; travel may be needed for float positions.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient care by performing or assisting in medical procedures, including vital signs, injections, venipuncture, EKGs and immunizations.
• Assist with clerical duties to maintain efficient clinic operations.
• Prepare exam rooms, stock supplies, and organize forms for physicals and visits.
• Document interventions and patient responses in the chart or EMR system.
• Duties may include assisting with gynecological exams and routine office procedures.
