Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant 2 to be the first point of contact for patient care, handling both administrative duties and clinical tasks in an outpatient setting. You will collect patient information, input data into the EMR, and support physicians and nurses with clinical responsibilities.

The role requires MA training or CMA/RMA certification or 5+ years' experience with provider approval, CPR certification, and TB screening participation.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or CMA/RMA or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification.
• This role is part of the TB screening program and requires TB screening.

Responsibilities

• Discuss symptoms and input information into the electronic medical records system.
• Take vital signs and administer injections.
• Perform diagnostic tests and collect specimens.
• Maintain examination rooms and supervise patient areas.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to deliver direct patient care.
