Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Graduation from a Medical Assistant program required for new hires/promotions after Oct 12, 2026.
• Current CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/CMAC certification is required.
• AHA BLS for healthcare workers certification is required.
• Knowledge of OSHA/CLIA/ADA is required.
• Familiarity with standard clinical competencies and CPT/ICD-10 coding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, performs direct patient care and clinical direction.
• Ensures completeness of procedures and smooth patient flow.
• Performs registration and scheduling activities.
• Maintains EHR files and basic front office duties.
• May precept MA team members as requested by leadership.
