Qualifications

• Candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• New hires require graduation from a Medical Assistant program.
• Current certification in medical assisting (CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/CMAC).
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, and ADA.
• Knowledge of insurance plans and third-party payers.
• Ability to master standard clinical competencies per policy and checklists.
• Basic math and accurate data collection and entry skills.
• Must meet technical and physical standards.
• ICD-10 and CPT coding knowledge is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Under supervision, performs duties related to direct patient care and clinical direction per organization standards.
• Ensures completeness of orders and treatments and maintains smooth patient flow; performs general lab work and patient instruction.
• Handles registration and scheduling activities per procedures.
• Maintains EHR files and performs front office tasks as needed.
• May precept MA team members or MA externs as requested by leadership.
