UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Medical Assistant II in Grafton, MA. The role supports clinic operations, taking vital signs, drawing blood, performing EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, and routine exams under clinician supervision.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, MA credential within 1 year, and BLS certification (obtainable within 3 months). A $3,000 signing bonus is offered; full-time schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant credential approved by MA Dept. of Health within 1 year.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association; obtain within 3 months if not on hire.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to exam rooms; record vital signs and document health status.
• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and Point-of-Care tests per clinic standards.
• May administer non-intravenous injections as directed.
• Assist in routine physical examinations and procedures.
• Review lab results and flag abnormal findings to physicians.
