Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.
• Military clinical training may be accepted per DD214.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows policies.
• Performs rooming tasks: vital signs, history, screenings.
• Assists provider with procedures and lab duties.
• Administers medications and vaccines following rights.
• Maintains clean environment and inventory of supplies.
• Communicates effectively and escalates when needed.
