Responsibilities include reviewing orders, coordinating chart review, maintaining EHRs, and supporting the care team to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program required for new hires after Oct 12, 2026.
• 0-2 years of relevant healthcare experience.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification required.
• Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, and ADA.
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct patient intake and room patients for appointments.
• Obtain and document vital signs.
• Complete medication reconciliation and verify current medications.
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for scheduled appointments.
• Assist providers by ensuring all information is available prior to visits.
• Coordinate appointment preparation, including chart review and required documentation.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and communicate post-visit instructions.
