You will document vital signs, reconcile medications, and assist providers to ensure timely visits. Candidates should have a high school diploma and basic life support certification, with opportunities for professional growth within our large Indiana health system.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; completion of a CTE program acceptable.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• New hires/promotions after Oct 12, 2026 require Medical Assistant program graduation.
• AHA Basic Life Support for healthcare workers certification required.
• Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, and ADA.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct patient intake and room patients for appointments.
• Obtain and document vital signs.
• Complete medication reconciliation and verify current medications.
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for scheduled appointments.
• Assist providers in ensuring all necessary information is available prior to the visit.
• Coordinate appointment preparation, including chart review and required documentation.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and communicate post-visit instructions.
