Capital Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and assist physicians in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will perform front-office duties, manage records, and ensure room readiness while maintaining high standards of care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary medical assisting program or CAHEA/ABHES accreditation with 330 clock hours minimum.
• Maintain current certification from AAMA/NCCT/AMCA/NAHP/NCMA/AMT or equivalent per board.
• AHA BLS certification required or obtained by end of orientation period.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vitals and history; perform basic procedures.
• Assist physicians and staff; prepare rooms and ensure supplies and forms are stocked.
• Handle front-office tasks: registration, scheduling, referrals, discharge paperwork, and documentation.
• Maintain electronic medical records and communicate effectively with patients and team.
